Cheyanna is being baptized!

I am not sure if all of you know yet or not, so I am posting this so everyone can be as proud of her as we are. Cheyanna has chosen to be baptized on Jan 17th 2009. We are very proud of her to have made this choice on her own. As soon as we find out the time we will let everyone know. Just wanted to let you guys get a heads up that she has chosen to take the action. We are definitely proud of her. We hope that you all can come and share the blessing she is going to recieve that day. Please let us know if you will be able to attend or not so we know how many chairs we will need. I will post the time and things as soon as we know. Have a great day. Hope you all had a great New Year!

Chloe first day of school!!

So there we were just sitting there then all of a sudden we realized it was Chloe's first day of school! She was oh so excited to go and as for me well I am excited for her to go but kinda sad also. Now that she is in school it just means that she is getting bigger. She is no longer the little girl who is stuck by my side day in and day out. Kinda sad if you actually sit and think about it. It's great that she will be able to finally get on her own and do things for herself, she always has but now it will be bigger and better things she will be doing for herself. Like writing her name or the alphabet or writing a letter to someone she loves. All by herself. She was very very excited. Here are some pics I took of her and her 2 teachers. She will be doing speech therapy also so she will have 2 teachers. The one on the bottom of the page is her speech teacher and the other is her actual teacher. Here is her first day of school!!!!

Kyle receives Webelos badge and Arrow of Light

So one day kyle had Pack Meeting. His leader came up to me and told me kyle only had 2 months left before he moved to the Boy Scout troop, that is when I realized that Kyle was like zero out of Nine for his merit badges. So I bit the bullet, canceled all my appointments (like I have any of those anyway), ordered a Big Mac, large fry and a choco shake and proceeded to eat them while I barked orders to Kyle. After a lot of dumb looks, lots of frustration and a few gray hairs Kyle finally earned his Webelos Badge and his Arrow of Light. Now is the fun time of scouts. You all know what I am talking about, sneaking BB guns on camp outs, a scout issued weapon of mass destruction (a Swiss army knife), learning how to play with fire and how to put it out using the only one true way. TO PEE ON IT! Last Sunday Kyles Boy Scout Leader came over to give us the head up on what was going to happen, what to expect and to get the insurance information. Out of all the information he shared with us the best part of it was he said the scouts were responsible for the cooking, cleaning and serving the adults the food, that sounded like a pretty cool idea. Well here are some pictures of the hard work I did and the credit Kyle got for it.
